In Moscow on October 7 will open the exhibition “The Romanovs and Grimaldi”

The exhibition “The Romanovs and Grimaldi. Three centuries of history. XVII-XX century” will open on October 7 at the Tretyakov Gallery in Lavrushinsky Lane. There are unique exhibits, which belong to the princely House of Monaco.

From 7 October to 13 November in Moscow will be held Days of Monaco. This exhibition will be one of the key events.

It will show the relationship of the Romanovs and the Grimaldi, which are presented in photos, letters and other materials.

At the exhibition, viewers will see valuable exhibit – the egg-clock, which was manufactured by Carl Faberge in 1887 for a gift to Empress Maria Feodorovna. The egg is in a collection Prince of Monaco since 1974, when it was donated by Prince Rainier III, his wife, Princess Grace.
