Imperor investigated the change in price for elite real estate and counted how many will cost happiness on popular islands in 2015.
Buyers of expensive real estate are interested in the housing located on islands of the Caribbean Region in the Mediterranean Sea or in Indonesia more and more. Viewings of such island real estate on the site Knight Frank grew for 2014 by 21% in comparison with in the previous year. The most popular were country houses on Ibiza, Barbados and to Bali. Interest in island real estate confirms also the increased number of private flights: in 2014 one of the largest world air carriers providing private dzheta – NetJets, flew on islands, than 10 years ago 70% more often, it is told in research.
The prices of elite housing on the Indonesian Bali increased for 2014 by 15%, having shown the highest growth in comparison with other island directions. The country house or apartments can cost to the new owner from $200 000 to $3 million.
For 2014 the luxury real estate on Ibiza rose in price for 5%. It is possible to buy elite housing from 1,25 million euros to 10,5 million euros. Experts of Knight Frank explain it with existence of good international schools, steady IT infrastructure and fast and convenient access to the airports of Great Britain and other countries of the North of Europe. The number of viewings of elite housing on Ibiza on the site Knight Frank grew for the first three months 2015 in comparison with the last quarter by 11%.
The elite real estate on the Cayman Islands rose in price for 2014 for 2,5%. The country house, apartments and other luxury housing on Caymans will cost to the buyer from $500 000 to $4,35 million.
The luxury housing on the Bahamas located to the southeast from Florida rose in price for 2014 for only 2%. Thus the dispersion of the prices remains rather big: from $900 000 to $14 million.
The cost of elite housing in Cyprus grew by 2% for 2014. To buy a mansion, a country house or luxury apartments on the island it is possible from from 290 000 euros to $15 million.
For 2014 the luxury housing on the French island Seong-Barthelemy located in the Caribbean Sea didn’t rise in price, experts of Knight Frank claim. The prices vary from 3,5 million euros to 17 million euros. And as the main currency of the island – euro, the buyers keeping the savings in dollars can take advantage of weakening of euro in relation to the American currency.
The elite housing on Barbados for 2014 fell in price for 3%. But dispersion of the prices the biggest among all island luxury real estate – from $225 000 to $35 million.
Majorca competes with Ibitsy in popularity among buyers of elite housing in the Mediterranean. Along with convenient infrastructure experts of Knight Frank note also growth of number of tourists affecting housing cost. However, if the luxury real estate on Ibiza rose in price, on Majorca its cost decreased by 2%. The dispersion of the prices on the island is more, than at the neighbor: from 595 000 euros to 17 million euros.
The luxury housing on the British Virgin Islands fell in price in 2014 for 7%. The prices vary from $450 000 to $11 900 000 for apartments or a country house.
The cost of elite real estate on Sardinia decreased for 2014 by 8%. The housing on this Mediterranean island enjoys popularity at Russians, inhabitants of Scandinavia and Great Britain, note in Khnight Frank. Now they can buy apartments, the house or a country house from 750 000 to 15 million euros.
