Died first Slovak President Michal Kovac
Michal Kovac, the first president of Slovakia, died on 5 October in Bratislava.
The politician served as president from 1993 to 1998. It is reported that Kovac has long suffered from Parkinson’s disease.
September 30 the ex-president was placed in the clinic and brought into a state of sleep therapy, connecting to the respirator. But Kovacs health was poor. He died 87 years old. The cause of death was cardiac arrest.
