Golodets proposes to abandon the rectangular classrooms in schools
Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets said that school education in Russia must be radically changed. Now teachers are mentors, instead of helpers.
Her suggestions were made about a class structure too.
She believes that now classes in schools designed properly. “We are all rectangular, because it is a habit that a teacher standing in front of, and behind it – the board, and kids sit in rows, as we learned in childhood”, – said Deputy Prime Minister.
Golodets sure there are huge resources for the development of education in Russia. It wants as educators, and children themselves.
