Great Britain will resume good relations with Russia out of EU
The Ambassador of Great Britain to Russia Laurie Bristow claimed that United Kingdom was going to resume good relations with Russia after withdrawal from EU. He talks just about trade relations and lifting of mutual sanctions. British position regarding Ukraine remains the same, however “everything can be discussed” at two countries level.
“Great Britain is still open for business. We need and Russia needs stable economic partners. The Great Britain is a major investment and trading partner for Russia” – ambassador said.
Referendum on withdrawal of Great Britain from European Union was held recently and it already starts to bring consequences to all participants. EU is planning emergency session regarding reorganization. The chancellor of FRG Angela Merkel put forward such initiative, as she is interested most of all in EU not to breakup. The same time there were civil uprisings in France and Spain where citizens asked to hold referendums on withdrawal from the EU. In Great Britain, free from EU, remarkable fall of the local currency costs is being noticed and changes of couple of contracts caused leaps on stock exchanges.
