Japan will offer Russia a joint study of the potential of the southern Kuriles
At a meeting of Deputy Foreign Ministers of Russia and Japan Igor Morgulov and Takeo Akiba, which will be held on March 18, the Japanese side will offer Russia a joint study of the southern Kurils. This will be done in order to determine the direction of work of the two countries.
Japan is ready to cooperate with Russia in terms of studying tourism, fishing and health.
It should be noted that the Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Oreshkin has been appointed special representative of the president on trade and economic cooperation with Japan.
