Lionesses almost “shouted down” Elizabeth II in the London Zoo
British monarchs are the most popular ones in the world. Almost every day they visit public facilities, different organization, in order to make it clear for people that, despite the title, it is interesting for them to know how people live in the United Kingdom. Elizabeth II, for example, visited the zoo, where she faced with a “conflicting” lionesses.
Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II, being in old age, as her royal relatives visits various public organizations and she shows that it’s not very hard for her. So she was invited to the London Zoo for the opening of the exhibition “Earth of lions”.
Queen prepared a speech in honor of the opening. As soon as she started to say it, the monarch’s words were muffled by the growl of two lionesses: Heidi and Indy. The animals appear to be fighting for food. David Field from the Zoological Society of London joked during the interview with reporters that, probably, animals have expressed their delight from the arrival of the Queen.
News of the incident has spread through many British and international media. After all, every step of the representatives of the British royal family is closely watched. Although we all know that, in fact, Elizabeth II has a little influence on the political decisions. All of it is made by the country’s government. However, the Queen and all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren are a symbol of the United Kingdom. It is impossible to imagine this country without them and their heritage.
