Ministry of Internal Affairs proposed to detain a Russian participant of Eurovision in Ukraine
Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko made a proposal to detain the participant of the song contest “Eurovision-2017” from Russia Yulia Samoilova. He was supported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
So Gerashchenko said that you can not let a girl into the country at all. He proposed a second option-to let her go to Ukraine, and then detain him for violating the border.
According to him, the reason for the detention of Samoilova is that she acted in the Crimea in 2015 and moved there from Russia, thereby violating the legislation of Ukraine.
