Opinion of Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin about the structures against the traditional family News

The head of the Synodal Department for Church and Society of the Moscow Patriarchate Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin, known for his distinctive appearance and unusually strange statements on behalf of the Church, announced the structure of the traditional family against the unscientific.

According to him, there are structures that,

“Relying on pseudoscientific construction, and in fact on which appeared in 1920-1930-ies occult tendencies”, consider that this restriction is necessary to minimize the role of the traditional family in the community, “ruin it” and put “something obsolete and shackles freedom”.

Archpriest has in mind various feminist movements, the so-called program of sex education in schools, the LGBT community, the idea of ??freedom of abortion, industry corruption, Child-free movement and the existence of multiple forms of families, including a same-sex marriage.

Speaking at the media, Vsevolod Chaplin usually criticizes those or other manifestations of social life, thereby putting the Church in the position of judge of the society. This what causes rejection and anger are. The effect of such statements is always opposite goals. His performances provoked a split in the community, as the Orthodox actively supports it. People secular sharply negative assessments of such statements, which are directed to all society and are perceived as imposing the opposite view.

The head of the Synodal Department stressed that the ROC will show “anti-scientific and occult roots” of these structures, “their absolute harm to our country and for all the countries of the Orthodox world.”

If we talk about objective things, this issue is to turn to philosophy and psychology which sees the problems of the traditional family that society itself is no longer traditional. Institution of the family is behind the company at 100-200 years. Current technologies only increase the gap. You can not argue with the reality of not having a vision of the future, since it is impossible to offer an alternative, based on past experience.

For this reason, it is currently growing dissatisfaction with the Church, it is increasingly perceived as something marginal, the old museum of history that tries to teach life.
