Prince Harry to visit Greater Manchester
Greater Manchester will receive a Royal visitor on Monday 20th October as Prince Harry will be stopping by to undertake two engagements in the area.
The first of these engagements will see Prince Harry visit Eccles RFC in his role as Patron of England Rugby’s All Schools Programme, where he will take part in a teacher training session. Prince Harry will be working alongside England Rugby community coaching staff to teach local teachers about becoming rugby coaches for their schools.
As Patron of England Rugby’s All Schools Programme, which has been developed by England Rugby to increase the amount of rugby played in state secondary schools, Prince Harry is an ardent supporter of the ambition for a staggering 750 more schools to be self-sufficient rugby playing schools by the time of the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.
