Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov sees a way to solve problems with “the whole world”
Sergei Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, spoke at the opening ceremony of the Global University BRICS summit in MGIMO. Collective international action and avoiding one-sided pursuit of profit can lead to progress in solving the most complex problems of our time, the minister said.
“Clearly, in the current troubled situation in world affairs it is necessary to negotiate, to compromise, which can create a long-term system of relations in every area”
Lavrov reiterated the importance of the BRICS on global issues of our time. Such large international players and platforms in recent years will make for Russian an output and the ability to articulate its position, it legitimizes and posing as a collective opinion.
Also through the “Big Twenty”, BRICS, SCO, Russia is trying to hold a dialogue with the West, as more and more direct contacts fiasco. For example, the other day between London and Moscow were halted political contacts, said Russian Ambassador to the UK.
