Russian-Serbian forum was held in Yekaterinburg. The results of the work, opinions of the participants
Today Yekaterinburg hosted the Russian-Serbian forum devoted to issues of economic cooperation between the two countries. The forum was attended by high-ranking officials of Russia and Serbia.
As we reported earlier, the forum was organized by the Serbian diaspora in the Urals Federal District and set the task of achieving concrete agreements on the issue of Serbian businessmen investing in the Urals. We can say that this happens for the first time, as usual Russian business, especially large corporations – “Russian Railways” and “Gazprom” are developing the territory of the Serbian subsidiaries, to build the infrastructure involved in supporting cultural projects. Today, Serbian businessmen expressed desire to participate in the economic life in Russia began with the Urals Federal District.
We are talking about two major projects – the development of the Serbian retail chain stores, as well as processing plants, which will use European technology deep-frozen foods.
Serb is online presided Slavenko Terzic, Serbia’s Ambassador to Russia. At the end of the event, answering questions from journalists, Mr Slavenko drew attention to international issues. In particular, the Ambassador commented on the situation of refugees, as well as with the international coalition to combat ISIS.

“Serbia supports all forms of the fight against terrorism, whether it is Russian or American coalition … Serbia is trying to help the refugees who in large numbers are going through our territory. However, we can not manage it alone”.
And Serbia, which, for a number of messages can be up to five thousand people in the Urals Federal District, presented the Serbian Diaspora, headed by Sava Rapich.
