Sweden is ready to recognize the state of Palestine
Sweden is the first country of the European Union, which intends to recognize Palestine. Not counting those member countries of the EU, which recognized the independence of a Palestinian state even before EU accession. Perhaps one is the only place in the Declaration of the new Swedish government has international resonance.
The Prime Minister of Sweden Stefan Leuven announced its intention to recognize Palestine as a sovereign state. Of the 28 countries of the European Union to the state of Palestine was recognized seven: Bulgaria, Hungary, Cyprus, Malta, Poland, Romania and the Czech Republic.
