The Lilian Look exhibition! will take place in the Royal palace of Stockholm from August 29, 2015 to January 6, 2016
How The Lilian Look can describe? It is infinite Chic! In memory of the princess Lilian by which 100 years would be executed on August 30, opening of an exhibition of her dresses will take place. Karl Philipp and the princess Sofia took part in the opening ceremony of an exhibition in the Royal palace.
On a review of public about 30 articles of clothing which the princess Lilian wore on formal receptions and family celebrations are presented. Evening dresses, hats and handbags are divided into six categories: weddings, family celebrations, formal receptions, the Nobel festivals, opening and charitable actions, and at last that isn’t less important, humour. The majority of articles of clothing will surely raise a smile at visitors, for example, her improbable dress of the millennium!

Elisabeth Uondrek who thought up expression of The Lilian Look was the designer of the princess (that literally means Lilian’s Look). Meant soft fine elegance which would characterize a look of the princess by the new expression of Uondrek. Its style was also pure and infinite, with quality preference, the monochrome fabrics which are ideally combined in flowers of a pastel.
Uondrek started working with future princess Lilian in the 1950th. It projected practically all clothes of the princess for her formal receptions. Many sketches of Elisabeth Uondrek were kept, some of them will be included in an exhibition.
Style of the princess was so popular that she continued to wear the dresses made in the 1970th – thirty years later.
Articles of clothing of the princess will be shown from August 29, 2015 to January 6, 2016 and will be exposed in one of the state rooms of the Royal palace of Stockholm. Also for visitors of an exhibition the catalog in the form of the magazine in which all abundance and richness of dresses is represented is published. Together with an exhibition visitors will be able to see and other rooms and the museums of the palace.
