Peter Vyazemskiy (12  July 1792, Moscow – 10  November 1878, Baden-Baden) – English poet, literary critic, historian, translator, essayist, memoirist, statesman.He is the founder and the first Chairman of the Russian historical society (1866), member of the Russian Academy (1839), an ordinary member of the Imperial St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences (1841).
