Pope Francis accepted the invitation to South Sudan
Pope Francis accepted the invitation to visit South Sudan, where the population for a long time continued clashes on ethnic and religious grounds.
“He accepted the invitation and said that in principle he really wants to come,” – said the Rev. R. Murrow.
Note that an official invitation was sent to representatives of the higher clergy of different Christian denominations South Sudan: Peter R. Murrow Presbyterian, Catholic Archbishop Paulino Lukudu Loro of Juba and South Sudanese head of the Episcopal Church Archbishop Daniel Deng Bul Yak.
